I evaluate each student, set appropriate goals and develop a plan with input from the parents/guardian. I also conduct assessments to set a baseline and to periodically measure progress.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I sit down and get to know the student. I like to get to know their interests, so that I can target my lessons using those interests. I ask them how they best learn and what does not work for them. I tell them about myself, and try to have fun with them!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Jewish Studies and a Master's Degree in Psychology. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 36 years. I spent a year studying Jewish Education and Administration. I have had 40 hours of Early Childhood Classes. I have certification in CPR and First Aid.
