As I work one on one with all of my wonderful students, I provide all books and materials to ensure success..I keep in contact with my student's teachers when necessary to ensure that all academic areas are covered as needed..I tutor Math,writing and Reading in Palm Beach County. My schedule allows me to offer not only weekdays, but weekends as well!! I get so much pleasure observing my students find success!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first access a student, providing materials allowing me to come to a conclusion as to what the students' needs are currently. After this assessment I utilize the students' current assignments and test scores to provide me with additional information. I work with the students books and provide additional material as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a classroom teacher for 25 years and obtained a Masters and Doctorate Degree to learn new techniques and concepts to assist children as well as adults.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically I charge 35 dollars per hour...This fee may vary depending on the improvements required as well as the assessment process.
How did you get started teaching?
It was my major as an Undergraduate. LOVED IT IMMEDIATELY!!

I have worked with Elementary Aged students to college students to include adults.

Always meet and ask questions so tutor can always meet students needs..
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Although difficult for students to talk to teachers about academic difficulties, often it is easier for the parents to chat with the teacher with the student present.
