I've been homeschooling for 9 years, tutoring multiple levels for 7 years, and worked as a regional trainer for other tutors for 3 years. I'm passionate about teaching, helping students, and coming alongside other parents to help their children grow academically and succeed.
I love seeing that "click" when something starts to make sense. I am a huge believer in the idea that every student can and should enjoy learning. Once you know how to learn something, you can learn anything! I want to see every student and family achieve their goals and exceed expectations while also building a students confidence in themselves and what they can accomplish.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to meet with new families for an initial interview where we can discuss their needs and expectations and create a plan to best set them up for success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Outside of homeschooling for 9 years and running, I've worked with a homeschool organization where I received yearly training to tutor and I have also been a designated trainer for other tutors within that organization. I've attended, hosted, and been a key speaker at various training events.

$15/hour or $20/hour if I travel to you
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been passionate about teaching. It was my dream job all throughout my adolescence. When I became a mother, I dedicated myself to educating my own children and throughout the years found opportunities to help others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with several classes of elementary and middle school students covering all subjects.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have loved all the things I have done within the education and homeschooling sphere. I enjoy teaching, training, speaking. Overall, I take such joy in equipping, encouraging, and inspiring others.
