Wendi Will Work!
About
I just love what I do so much that it's infectious. My sense of humor tends to make learning fun for all ages. My goal is to instill a love of learning no matter how boring the subject might seem.
There is nothing better than seeing that shift... the shift from "I can't do it" to "I got this!" I love empowering kids and showing them that there is nothing they can't do. Nothing is impossible!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First and foremost, get to know the student's learning and studying habits. I need to know how to teach that student. I want to know the best way to connect and communicate with that student, so communication is key.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was the director of education and then center Director for Sylvan Learning Centers in Los Angeles, California. In 2019 I was recruited to run Huntington Learning Center in Los Angeles. This August, I needed to relocate to Florida for family reasons, so rather than go back to running a center, I decided that I would like to focus on working directly with the kids. To me, that has always been the most satisfying part!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 -80 depending on subject and age
What types of students have you worked with?
The entire spectrum of Neurodivergent through Neurotypical, and I love them all. In fact, showing a child who is neurodivergent tips and tricks that help them learn in a way that fits their style of learning is of the utmost importance in helping those children gain the confidence they need to be amongst their neurotypical peers and know that they are just as smart if not smarter and can learn just as well if not better!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How can you help ME? Teachers should ask YOU questions about YOUR learning style. It's not so much about the teacher but about whether the teacher can teach to your needs and connect the material to how you learn.
