Writing Is Easy
About
Writing is all about communication. It does not require an advanced degree. In fact, it doesn't require training at all. It's about identifying what you want to say and saying it clearly. I will show you how to use common sense, organization, and openness to maximize your ability as a writer and to achieve your desired results.
It gives me joy to see students learn how to unlock their potential. I find that coming in, students think that there is a very rigid way that they're expected to complete their assignments. When students are able to grasp how much freedom they have to be creative and expressive, and to see them gain confidence in themselves as communicators, that makes me extraordinarily happy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to ask the student why they're reaching out for help. Once I'm able to pinpoint the desired area of improvement, I'll ask to read the student's previous work. We'll talk about the process that went into it and I'll offer some initial basic, judgement-free thoughts. From there, I will assist the student in creating a template to organize and simplify their process. I will help them not just by working side by side with on their current project, but by providing the tools for them to succeed into the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was recommended for Honors English at Broward College by Professor Donna Samet in the English Department.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I'm just getting started on Tutors.com and am willing to be flexible in pricing as I'm building a profile.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always been a good writer. Friends and family who're students have regularly sought my opinion on their writing assignments over the years. It was through their encouragement and through my experiences collaborating with peers in an academic setting that I decided to pursue work as a teacher/tutor.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The most important quality a teacher can have is their ability to unlock what is already inside of a student. This happens via strong communication and compatibility. When you're hiring a teacher, they should be able to explain their process in simple terms and they should give you a sense of ease.
