Reading/Social Studies/College Prep Tutor

I earned my Masters in Teaching, from the University of Virginia. I am a licensed educator in both Florida and Virginia. I am a teacher for the School District of Palm Beach County, and currently on summer break. My experience includes four years of teaching in top performing schools (3 years in Northern VA and 1 year so far in South a Florida). I have also completed numerous student teaching placements (towards earning my degree) in VA schools as well as abroad in Belfast, UK. While my specialization is in secondary (grades 6-12) social studies instruction, I can tutor and assist in a variety of subjects and capacities. I’m able to help with colleges prep, essay writing, and applications. I’m also able to do SAT reading and writing prep. Additionally, I can tutor in reading, phonics, and spelling for all ages.
