I have an undergraduate degree in English, a Masters in English, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction writing.

More importantly, I truly love helping students reach their full potential.

I love watching "the light go on" in the process of acquiring a new skill, or understanding a new concept. Teaching students how to write is also thoroughly enjoyable and exciting. I also love getting to know each student on a human level. Many I have stayed in touch with after they graduate from high school and college, and beyond.
