I am an extremely patient tutor who will analyze where each student is academically and teach him/her what they need to succeed. I believe strongly in building a student’s confidence in themselves. I have had great success with helping students reach their goals.
I have been working within the field of education, on and off, since 1995. I have worked as a teacher in both Orange and Seminole counties.
I am fingerprinted by the state and have a Department of Education number which you will be able to verify. I am in the process of getting recertified in Middle Grades English 5-9, Elementary Education K-6, after a lapse in teaching due to an illness. I am also getting the Reading K-12 endorsement.
I have tutored at three different Huntington Learning Centers in Central Florida, as well as private tutoring for a total of eight years. I focused mainly on students who are at least two years behind in school. I have also tutored SAT and ACT English Prep.
I received my college degree in Rhetoric and Communications with a minor in English from SUNY at Albany.
Rob graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He served ten years in the Navy.
He has tutored at two Huntington Learning Centers. He specializes in mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, and Geometry) Physics and SAT prep.
