What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to get the gist of how much they understand and why exactly they are confused. I would the reframe their thinking and improve their problem solving process to not only solve the problem but to understand the full concept.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently on the path to get my AA in biomedical sciences. I have work with math since elementary school and would be a great help to you and your child.
