I am a Special Education Teacher. I have taught reading to students with Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and Emotional Disabilities for 19 years and still going strong. I am Reading Endorsed and English Speakers of Other Languages trained. Reading is my passion and I love to pass that on to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Ask them questions about their goals. Do some testing to identify strengths and weaknesses and then gather materials to address weaknesses. Find materials that interest them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Special Populstions. I am Reading Endorsed and ESOL certified. I have received numerous trainings in my 19 year career as a teacher. I have taught Reading and English for all of those years at many different levels.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I plan to charge $25 an hour.
