I'm well educated; I have two medical degrees and one business degree all of which were on the honor roll. I enjoy meeting new students of different cultures and helping them to accomplish their educational goals and expectations.
English was my favorite subject along with reading, grammar, writing, vocabulary and proper sentence structure. I will also assist you in the proper technique of homework skills. I take great pride in my work and always go that extra mile for my students. The most important first step in obtaining a good job is making an excellent first imprerssion on your interview.
Most of all, I enjoy meeting students from various cultures which actually gives me an education as well. I am a big advocate of advancing your education so you can be confident and secure when you go for that first and most important job interview. I feel proud when I can give a student the encouragement and motivation to continue to go as far as they can in life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Observing what level the student is at presently and testing and reviewing the student to see if they did in fact, comprehend the work. At that point, I would go on to the next level of course and continue from there. I do not go on to the next level until I am satisfied that the student understood the finished work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with an honor certificate from Plaza Business College majoring in Business English and Communication. I have also taken a night course in beginner and intermediate Psychology and human behavior.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
At present, I am charging one price if the student meets me at a designated public place but, if I need to go to their exact area where they live, then I have an extra charge for that to basically cover my time and gas for the car.
How did you get started teaching?
I always loved helping and assisting both young and adults regarding their studies, homework etc. When I used to babysit children when I was younger, I would always sit with them and tutor them in the areas they needed it the most.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from South America who were unable to speak any English and also assisted in an elementary school with grades 2-5 with reading, writing and grammar. I have also tutored a student privately in their home with homework skills and reading comprehension and test prep.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Presently, it is all the help and volunteer assistance that everyone is giving to Texas along with the large amount of money they have alreadycollected. These are true human beings.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a tutor in your area of expertise?
Always read up on the tutor, their accomplishments and achievements and style of tutoring. Also, make sure they teach the subjects you are in need of, and finally, try to speak with them to get a feel whether you and tutor are compatible which is very important for feeling confident, secure and relaxed.

To make sure you have decisive decisions on exactly the subjects you are in need of at the time.
