Science Tutoring
About
I am a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida, with a bachelors in Biomedical Sciences. I have a passion for both science and math, however it wasn't always that way. With perseverence and identifying tools to help me learn, I started getting better grades and rcalling topics better. I believe that everyone has a unique learning style. I hope that with the right guidance, I can help encourage them to love sience and math as much as I do!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before working with a student, I like to get an idea as to where they stand academically. Also, I like to know what they do extracurricularly, mostly because it can be a good way to tie in concepts being taught.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have researched Huntington Disease for the last year and a half. I have also completed numerous upper level science courses. I have tutored previously for free at my university, however I am looking for a way to make some money, as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the subject, but typically $30-$40 for each session. If there are multiple sessions in a week, discounted rates can be discussed!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, from age 5 to college students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that can explain any topic in a way that can make sense to you.
