About
I am a high-achieving student who graduated as a valedictorian of my high school senior class, and I will be attending Brown University in the fall. I have been successful in advanced courses in a variety of subjects, which makes me qualified to assist other students.
Spreading knowledge is very important to me, so I love working with children and helping them to better understand the world around them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I try to develop an understanding of what they already know by discussing what they have learned in class and having them work through a few sample problems. Then, I identify their areas of difficulty and explain the processes and logic behind solving these problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went through the Brandywine School District's Gifted Program from grades 1 to 8, and in high school, I have taken AP Seminar, AP Research, AP World History, AP US History, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Language and Composition. I earned 5s in all of these exams, except for Research and Physics, in which I earned 4s. My senior year, I took AP Microeconomics, AP Literature and Composition, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish, and AP Statistics.
In the past, I tutored students in math, reading, and Spanish in middle school. Currently, I tutor elementary/middle school students in math and English and I regularly help edit my classmates' essays.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with upper elementary, middle, and high school students, but I feel most comfortable working with students in grades 6 to 10.
