I am a mathematics tutor with 14 years of experience and a strong academic background that includes engineering degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels, plus two additional graduate degrees in computer science. I have taught a wide range of subjects—from Algebra and Pre‑Calculus to Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Discrete Math, IB HL/SL math and Advanced Calculus—working with both high school and college students. My experience includes one‑on‑one tutoring as well as leading group classes of 10–20 students at Kaizen Learning Center.

Teaching math is something I genuinely enjoy. While working as a software engineer during the day, I spent evenings and weekends tutoring because helping students grow in confidence and skill is deeply rewarding. My approach is to meet students where they are, understand how they think, identify gaps, and guide them step‑by‑step toward solving problems independently. Instead of giving quick answers, I help students build the reasoning skills they need to succeed on their own.

Many students who once struggled with or feared math have gained confidence and significantly improved their grades. My SAT and ACT students consistently perform at a high level, with several earning perfect scores. I’ve received strong reviews from both parents and students, and about 90% of my students continue working with me throughout high school or college.
