About
As a high school student, I feel that I understand better than most the struggles of learning in a traditional school environment and can relate to them which will help me to connect with the student on a deeper level. It is difficult enough to get the one on one help you need in a traditional school setting, and with all that is going on in the world today, it is even harder. I understand the challenges of online school and feel that I will be able to help your child continue to get the education they need through these confusing times.
As a student I love learning and I want to share my love of learning to others. Over the years, I have been involved in numerous academic extracurriculars, including Math League, Science Olympiad, and National Junior Honor Society, and have participated and led multiple school clubs, such as the nationwide Jefferson Council and Eco Alliance, a club which I started and now run. My greatest achievements include winning multiple Science Olympiad awards, receiving a Student Athlete award, receiving multiple scholarships, and achieving First Honors every year of high school. I am confident in my education because I currently attend the top school in Delaware which specializes in Math and Science. Although I may not be as qualified as teachers, I do have experience as I volunteer to tutor underprivileged kids and frequently assist my middle school and elementary aged siblings with their work.
