What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Usually I like to see pieces of their previous work. I like to see what their writing habits are so I can assess their strengths and weaknesses and come up with strategies to help and improve both.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a sophomore English education major at the University of Delaware and I have student taught at multiple high schools in Delaware.
