English & SAT Tutoring
About
Welcome! My name is Anna Mitchell, I am a passionate educator in Delaware. I love teaching and learning. I currently work with a high school population and love every minute of it. I start my process by listening to my students first to understand their needs before moving into our work. Each student will receive an individualized plan for getting their work or SAT needs accomplished.
I have been in education for 5 years now, I have a Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Delaware and a Master's degree in Education from Wilmington University. I am a certified and licensed educator/ SAT tutor. I also have 7 years of coaching experience, coaching and teaching go hand in hand.
I love working with students. For me, seeing a student take on a challenge and fully work through it and come out successful is everything for me. I love when there is a challenge, not only for the student but for myself so when we come out successful together, it is just a great feeling.

I typically charge around $50-$70 an hour depending on what the task at hand is. I am very communicative and happy to answer any additional questions.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to identify what their problem is. If they are struggling with the question, the actual concept, the formula etc. Pin pointing where the struggle is starting is key to moving forward.
