What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to begin with a phone consult to the parent(s) or guardian(s) to discuss trouble areas and to prepare the time and dates in which I would tutor. The initial session will consist of simple tasks to assess the child's learning needs and to consult with the parent on how things should and can go for the subsequent sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience leading small groups at the YMCA and as a Corps Member for Americorp. I also have experience leading small groups in recreational and religious settings.

$35 per hour, please call for specialized times!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from Kindergarten to the 5th grade.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that has a varied background.
