Spanish And More Tutoring
About
I have been a teacher in DC for 6 years, and have loved working with my students to find new ways for them to access the material and achieve their goals. Before working in DC, I taught English as a Second Language in Medellin, Colombia to students from age 5 to adulthood. I have a degree in Spanish/Latin American Studies and in addition to Colombia, I have lived and studied in Santiago, Chile. I love the song that is the Spanish language and how it can connect peolpe from different cultures and places all over the world. Learning a foreign language can seem scary, but I am here to help you make it fun and easy!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I first want to learn what exactly they are looking to get out of the tutoring session. I then try to learn their learning style, and what kind of instruction or activities interest them the most, and create or find lessons that will keep them engaged while learning the material.
