About
The connections I make immediately with students and the ability to work 1 on 1 is the thing I love most about tutoring!
With 10+ years in education, the QTI approach is 100% student centered, with a coaching and teaching philosophy that guarantees results though a dynamic, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic approach to the main tenets of literacy and math instruction, executive functioning, Spanish language, plus the self confidence that comes along with excelling in academics.

Jesse has been/is a terrific tutor on my journey to learn and speak Spanish. He makes an effort to meet me where I am both at my knowledge level and dedication/time availability amount. He is able to provide a great balance of corrective while encouraging and keeps that balance in our lessons often breaking up the hour with a song (sung in Spanish of course). He is organized and has an agenda for our meeting time. On top of all that, he has a positive and authentic presence about him making it much easier to connect and digest the material. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

My tutor, Mr. Jesse Howes, is awesome and helped me a lot in my 8th grade year. Ever since I started taking his classes, I was able to get As on every one of my writing assignments and got educated on various writing skills/techniques.

Jesse has been more than helpful. We moved back from overseas and our oldest started a new middle school virtually. Jesse has been a great support and teacher for him. He has made the transition to a new place, new school, and virtual learning so much easier. He has helped my some in more way than just math and Spanish. They have a great connection and it’s good to see my son happy to meet with him once a week. It’s been so helpful to have one on one help with someone who is charismatic and truly loves teaching. We would definitely recommend Jesse to everyone.

I know I am probably not the traditional student that Jesse will meet with, but I wanted to try a different way to immerse myself in Spanish and Jesse was more than willing to adapt to my needs on this journey. He has the knowledge of many different Spanish contexts, across Latin America and Spanish Europe. I appreciate his approachability and the ease with which our meetings have transpired. It doesn’t feel like I am talking to a tutor, it feels like I am talking to a friend. And that speaks volumes to how I learn what would otherwise be an incredibly intimidating topic for me. Thanks, Jesse!

My daughter is in a Spanish Immersion Program at her elementary school. Jesse is tutoring my daughter English. He is fantastic! It’s a major plus that he is also fluent in Spanish, so he understands my concerns and is so helpful with making sure my daughter progresses and she learns the fundamentals for both English and Spanish. I am so happy to be working with Jessie.

I HIGHLY recommend Quality Tutors Intl. Jesse is really special and talented. My 2nd grade son is currently in the dual immersion Spanish program. We’re an English speaking home so at times it’s extremely difficult to assist my son with classwork and homework. During quarantine he’s struggled with reading and reading comprehension, this has really affected his confidence.
Jesse is his first male teacher and he loves the interaction with him. Every session they did activities to help boost his confidence. Now I can proudly say my son has received A’s in his reading and reading comprehension. My sons excited to read every chance his gets. I’m so grateful for Jesse.
Thank you for being an inspiration to my son.
