About this tutor

The service that I provide is tutoring the spanish language. I have a passion for tutoring spanish because I love the fact that other people that are not native speakers get to learn the language in order to communicate and travel to various spanish-speaking countires. I have been tutoring for 7 years now. I have been tutoring various subjects while I was in the University and High School. I speak, write, and read spanish  fluently. I was born in El Salvador. I have also taken spanish 1, 2, and 3 in high school.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My typical process for working with a new student is meeting with the new student on the first session in order to get to know the student. I will ask the student questions in order to get a hint of what the students goals are from tutoring and at the end create a plan.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I did take spanish 1, 2, and 3 in High School. I also took a exam in College to get the credits to graduate. I am also currently tutoring as well with another company.  I have also tutored classmates in high school in order to pass their spanish exames. In addition, I have tutored as well for other subjects for kids in my church that had spanish-speaking parents that were unable to help with their homework.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I do have a standard pricing system for lessons. The rate is $20.00 per hour (no less than 1 hour).

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching spanish for about 7 years.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with elementry and high school students.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A advice that I will give a student is make sure the teacher is fluent in writing, reading, and speaking the language not just speaking the language.
