Georgetown Student And College Admissions Coach
About
Hello there! My name is Felix, and I am a sophomore at Georgetown University double majoring in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Government. I have a wide variety of tutoring experience, including tutoring for all sections of the SAT and reviewing college admissions essays from undergrad to grad school. I also have experience tutoring elementary and middle school aged students and immigrant students learning English.
Whether you are looking to improve you/your student's SAT score, brainstorming/editing/revising a personal statement or supplemental essays, or even just beginning to think about colleges that may be a good fit, I am willing and eager to help you reach both your short and long term goals. As a high achieving student who applied to nearly 20 schools, I am well versed in the world of college applications and enjoy helping students curate applications that will help them earn a ticket to their dream school.
In high school, I scored in the top 1% of SAT takers, earning a 1580 overall with a perfect 800 in Evidence Based Reading and Writing and a 780 in Math. I understand the test inside and out and am well prepared to help students do the same.
Editing is a passion, and I have edited and reviewed countless successful application essays from undergrad to grad school. Having written my way into my dream school, I know what elite colleges are looking for in supplemental essays and personal statements. In a sea of similarly impressive applicants, college essays can make or break an application, I look forward to helping you/your student write their way into their dream school, too!
I also prioritize helping students build their confidence. I know that applying for college can feel like an overwhelming time in a high school student's life, but I believe that every student has the potential to reach their goals. My goal is always to ensure that the students I work with believe in themselves, too.
I'm excited to work with you and my schedule is quite flexible! Please feel free to reach out with any questions and I will reply as soon as I can!
