Helping others succeed academically is one of my secrets to success.

Discovering overtime that the more I helped others, the better understanding I gained, led me to giving a helping hand to my peers when they looked like they were about to give up or perhaps put on a gloomy face full of conundrums.

It’s a breath of fresh air when you get to help others and their faces sparkle at the realization of a concept becoming less vague.

I worked at the FLOC (For Love of Children) organization located at Washington D.C. as a math tutor, providing one-on-one tutoring for pupils within the range of elementary to high school. It was a wholesome experience that enabled me to gain more understanding of student learning, developing me socially, through positive interactions with experienced coordinators and academically because I got to teach students of different caliber.
