About
My names are Asong Defang, i'm a graduate from university of Maryland Baltimore County. I'm a tutor/data analyst in the washington metropolitan area. I have been a math tutor for 10 years and its been a passion-driven experience. The problem with students is that its not about them, its about the instructor and most instructors don't take the time to teach mathematics. My experience has been that 70% of the students i tutor did not fail math or have difficulty but fail because of lack of understanding fundamental basis in the math course. That's why i spend time focus on developing my students learning definion of approaching math solving and deriving solutions. I have been successful in passing along this math remedy and that has met with 200 plus students passing their math course with a B or higher. Mathematics has been a passion for me because i love problem solving. I have won math tournament at the prince Georges Commubity college in 2009, Pi Mu Epsilon award in mathematics and summa cum laude as i graduated. I have a LinkedIN account (Asong Defang), Facebook (Asong Defang), and twitter (Asong Defang)
