Nick Strohmeyer

As a full-time data scientist with a master's in computer engineering and a bachelor's degree in mathematics, I bring years of experience in both theoretical and applied mathematics, data analysis, and programming. Not only are these the skills I put towards my own career but these are also the skills I have taught for years in various capacities both in private tutoring and as a teaching assistant at university, where I had great experiences with the students I got to work with.

I take a principles-first approach where I emphasize developing intuition and understanding over copy-and-paste problem solving. This has not only helped me in my own learning, but also makes the process more fun and engaging. I love to share knowledge and help others, which is why I have pursued teaching in my free time for over 6 years now. Looking forward to working with you and helping you reach your academic goals.
