I am a computer science professional with five years of experience developing software and three years of experience teaching what I've learned as both a teaching assistant, tutor, and volunteer. I have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Masters of Science in Cybersecurity from New York University. I can teach you anything computer related, from the physics of a computer to API development. I am a patient and careful teacher willing to go the extra mile to make sure you not only understand the topics, but can apply the concepts we review as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first lesson is typically dedicated towards understanding your current progress and competency. Then we will outline your goals and timeline for reaching them and set up a tutoring schedule. I do try to extend the effectiveness of our tutoring session through take home assignments custom created for each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Computer Science and MS in Cybersecurity. I have five years of professional software development and computer science research experience. I have been tutoring students from grade school to college in Computer Science related topics for over two years.

I generally charge around $40 / hour for tutoring, but this rate is negotiable based on what your tutoring needs are (i.e. the target education level and topic).
