French And Arabic Tutoring Through Motivation And Inspiration!

About this tutor

Hi! I have been teaching languages on a freelance basis for over 4 years, specializing in French, Arabic and English. My students profiles range from World Bank retired officials, young professionals and government employees, and children as young as 6 years old! I have to admit that the most rewarding part of teaching is all the amazing people I've met throughout this journey! I am originally from Morocco which makes me native of both French and Arabic, and I have lived in Paris for about 5 years.
I provide all the learning material (print and web based), you will be given a folder that we replenish every class so that you have all the necessary material to study on your own down the road. I also believe in culture immersion while learning a new language, along those lines, I do include fun learning material and activities to expose the student to the cultural extent of the language.
My schedule is fairly flexible, willing to travel to the students location or teach in my own home or public space.
I usually like to schedule a meeting/phone call/skype call with my prospect students to go over their goals and get a feel for our compatibility, and once we start the classes, I am ALWAYS available for questions or extra help although not on the clock.
Beside the technical knowledge and capabilities, I believe that what makes a good teach is his/her ability to communicate, relate, connect and display a great deal of patience!

Native speaker, TEFL & TESOL certified, BS. Political Science, Ms. Hospitality Management & Human Resources

A 1000 miles journey starts with one step, take your first step with me! Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions or concerns, or to schedule an initial free meeting! Best of luck !

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Set up an initial meeting with the student to discuss his/her goal and get a feel for our compatibility as a teacher/learner. The meeting could be either in person or through skype or even just a phone call. After the initial assessment of the level of proficiency and goals of the student, I custom make a curriculum to meet those expectations as much as possible. The class is very structured, once the curicculum is set, the student is given a three sections folder : course, homework, and vocabulary flash cards. Every class, I replenish the study material and keep records of progress.
