About
I am an experienced language teacher with 7 years tutoring and classroom experience, both online and in person and TEFL certified. I will use a combination of my own and curriculum specific materials to build a programme centred around the four key language skills. My lessons are personalised to each student and I have presentations, set activities and quizzes for each grammar topic to provide structured and coherent lessons. Together we will build a lesson plan that engages the students interests, capitalises on their strengths and prioritises their weaknesses and one that incorporates games and timed activities. As a linguist myself, (I have studied languages at a graduate level), I am acutely aware of the different challenges that arise at each stage of language acquisition to which I can offer both my understanding and my tried and tested methods!
My priority is always to create a comfortable classroom environment where students can challenge themselves and find enjoyment in their learning!
