Hey everyone, I am just starting this tutoring gig as I wanted to pick up a third language myself! I thought, why not offer what have to someone in need? Though I don't have teaching qualifications, I am fluent in Madarin and went to school in Beijing from 1st to 8th grade. I continued studying Chinese in college and studied abroad in Taiwan in 2012. I hope I am able to help those that are looking to learn this difficult language in a fun and engaging way!
I want to help those interested in learning the langauge! I have worked with many with basic Chinese langugage backgrounds, and it pleases me to see their progress! I also want to pick up a third langugage (French) myself so that I am able to connect with more people.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied in public schools in Beijing from 1996-2004, before moving to the U.S.
I studied abroad in Taiwan at Fu Jen Catholic University in 2012 while in college.
How did you get started teaching?

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you able to dedicate a couple of hours a week learning the language? This is something that requires consistency, I want you to walk away with an understanding of the language that stays with you forever.
Are you learning to speak? To read and write? Or both?
