SB Biology Tutoring
About
I am a recent graduate with knowledge of how undergraduate classes are structured. I have assisted students in the past in earning A's in classes they never thought possible.
I enjoy helping others reach goals that may not otherwise be obtainable. Sometimes students just need a little push, and help from someone closer in age to them to really engage with the material and get the most of their learning experience. I am excited when they have that "aha!" lightbulb moment go off in their head, as this makes my work all worth it.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2020 from Salisbury University with a degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry in Statistics.
During my time at Salisbury University I was a tutor for Anatomy and Physiology 1 for a year. I am currently working at the National Institutes of Health gaining further experience to help students understand basic biology. This past summer I mentored students through a 6-week research project at the NIH.
How did you get started teaching?
I became a supplemental instructor (very similar to a tutor) during my undergraduate career. As I am an avid learner myself, I love to help others reach their goals and accomplish great things through their studies. I hope I can help students in many ways through this platform.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with undergraduate students from freshman to senior year. I have also worked with high school seniors.
