Maddie went above and beyond to help my daughter navigate her undergraduate lab science (biology) requirement.
Maddie took the time to understand the specific needs my daughter had with respect to ability & learning style and guided her through a subject that was quite challenging in both concepts and volume. She allowed and required my daughter to advocate for herself and responded to all her needs as they arouse throughout the semester.
Maddie encouraged my daughter to find her strengths, own them and push herself farther. She, without question, elevated my daughters confidence as a student!
I was a little concerned that Maddie’s age and experience would limit her effectiveness as a biology tutor. That concern was gone after 10 mins of talking with Maddie. She is knowledgeable, efficient, caring and very professional. She does not wait for direction (unless that is what is needed) but rather sees the weak areas and works in tandem with my daughter to find solutions.
Bottom line, Maddie is an excellent biology tutor and teacher. I would 100% recommend her to anyone struggling with science.
