I have years of experience helping students study English and have been certified for grades 7-12 since 1999.
I taught hundreds of students language arts, AP Language and Literature, Drama, Journalism, Philosophy, AP World, and AP US History.
I was an adjunct college instructor of Composition, Communications, and Media History.
I have an MS in English with Education from Southern CT State University and a BFA in Drama from Hofstra University.
Helping people read, write, and think critically is my life’s work, and I very much enjoy it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I’ll ask for a diagnostic writing sample or a class syllabus and review it with the student. Then I’ll design lessons to help with improvement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a teacher for thirty years and have an MS in English from Southern CT State University. During my career, I have been a pioneer in educational technology and have developed CyberEnglish as a way to teach writing.
