When working with a new student, I first need to assess their current ability level and area of need. I do that by looking at a sample of their work to determine what needs to be focused on. From there, I either work with them on current assignments for their class or we work on refining the skills they need to be successful in the class they are in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Spanish, a degree in Curriculum and instruction, a degree in educational administration, am certified in TESOL (teaching English as a second language), I am certified in secondary Spanish education, I am certified to be an administrator, I am a teacher mentor as well as a technology mentor for teachers in my school.
