I started with cognitive english because I had to improve my toefl score, when I started with classes my toefl was 59 points, since I started, I went through many difficult moments, outside the academic. But Jordan besides being an incredible teacher is a great person, and he help me so much, to achieve the score that I needed and also I improve as a person, now I have an 82 toefl score. I really recommend to work with Cognitive English, nothing would have been posible without that help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process involves assessing a student's current skill level, understanding their goals, and creating a personalized study plan. We'll then work together through targeted lessons, practice tests, and regular progress assessments to maximize their SAT/GMAT success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive training in test-prep techniques and have top 5% percentile testing scores. My 12+ years of tutoring experience ensures a deep understanding of the SAT/GMAT, enabling me to guide students to achieve their highest potential.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer a standard pricing system: $60/hr for individual lessons, $525 for a 10-hour package, and $1000 for a 20-hour package. Group rates are negotiable. I'm committed to making education accessible, so I offer sliding-scale fees based on financial need.
How did you get started teaching?
My passion for teaching began as a college tutor, where I discovered the joy of helping others achieve their academic dreams. Since then, I've honed my skills as an SAT/GMAT tutor, consistently helping students improve their scores and gain confidence.
