I am certified to teach Elementary Education, Special Education and Reading for children Birth - Grade 6. I have experience as both a classroom teacher and reading teacher in the Huntington School District, as well as a Pre-K teacher in the Freeport School District. I would love the opportunity to help your child learn!

I love when students get an ah-ha moment and things start to click for them! Being a tutor allows me to work one on one with students to help them gain confidence and learn!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When starting with a new student, I get a baseline of where the student is currently performing. I then base future lessons in their needs. This also allows me to track progress over the course of our sessions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my bachelors in Elementary and Special Education. I also have my masters in Literacy Instruction.
