I am an engineer by training from IIT-Delhi in India and I represented India in international math olympiads. I have been teaching school students in Math over the last decade and longer. I am passionate about math.

I tutored a dozen schoolchildren in the slums of a city in India and they went on to each finish high school with the highest grade in Math in their board exams. They validate me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Come with an open mind and have fun.
Math is just another language, there really is nothing to be scared of at all.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Literally nothing. There is nothing to think about. You cannot learn swimming without getting into the pool. Just bring a sheet of paper, a pen or a pencil (better!) and dive in.
