About
I love incoporating games into my tutoring sessions! I take a skill that a student needs to work on, and turn it into a game to help the student improve. I am all about making learning fun and interactive.
I have been working with children for about 12 years. I have worked at a summer camp for 11 years, tutoring for 2 years, babysitting, susbtitute teaching, and teaching dance at a dance studio. I was also a life coach for a high school student with special needs. I love working with kids and I can't picture myself doing anything else.
I have my Masters in Secondary Education specifically for Social Studies but I have expericence tutroing all subjects!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know the student for the first 5 minutes or so of the first session and allow the student to get to know me! It is important to be comfortable with the teacher you are working with in order to produce great work! Then I like to ask the student what their goals are and what my expectations are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Masters in Education and have been working with children for about 12 years, 5 of those years in an academic setting. I have been a subsitute teacher and leave replacement teacher, a tutor and a dance teacher!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge between 40-50 an hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with pre-k through high school students. I have taught dance to children ages 2-15, I am currently tutoring a 4th grader and two 9th graders. I have also worked with students with learning disabilities and speical needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they are struggling with already and want to improve on and what they are curoius and want to learn more about. They should also always have questions prepared about the work presented during the tutoring session.
