Hi! My name is Beatrix, and while I am new to Tutors.com, I have been tutoring kids of all ages for over 5 years. I am passionate about English, Music, and History but am flexible and able to help with other subjects if needed. I've been tutoring English and Music for years, mostly working with middle and high schoolers. I love helping students work through their problems and develop long lasting study techniques so they can succeed on their own. I specialize in grammar, reading comprehension, sight reading/ singing, music theory, and part writing- as well as general organization and planning help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with a brief get to know you period where we can talk about the work that they want to accomplish and what they think their problem areas are. From their we can talk about specific questions, work through examples, or plan better ways to stay organized and on top of their work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently attend one of the top liberal arts colleges in America and have over 5 years experience tutoring kids of all ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is absolutely flexible but my normal rate is $35 and hour.
