Siddharth Math Tutoring
I'm a Yale undergraduate student double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Economics.
I've been tutoring students in Math, Science, and SAT prep since 7th grade. I had the opportunity to lead classroom-style sessions for >100 students. I also founded math clubs at my middle school and high school to provide students with the opportunity to get extra support in school. I have experience working with students between ages 9-22.
Qualifications: Math - AP Calculus BC (5), AP Statistics (5), Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations; Science - AP Chemistry (5), AP Physics 1,2 & C (5s), AP Biology (5); SAT - 1520, 800 Math subject Test, 800 Physics Subject Test
I focus on ensuring a student understands the concepts being taught, rather than just memorizing formulas and techniques. I find the experience extremely rewarding and look forward to getting to know your student!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask the student to send me the topics they want to discuss before hand so I can review the material and prepare practice questions. During our session, I begin by explaining some of the concepts the student is having difficultly with, then work through practice problems together and then finally have the student try doing problems by themselves.
