Hi! For students who are just skimming through this, here’s a summary: I don’t want my students to love math. I want them to feel as if they’re heard. I want them to feel like they actually gained something. I don’t lecture my students, I listen to them. I don’t teach, I tutor. If you choose to work with me, you really will be working with me. We’ll be partners of a sorts.

For parents: hello! I’m a math tutor with a decade’s worth of experience in tutoring behind me. I have a bachelor’s in mathematics from SUNY Albany, and for a time I was a graduate student at Stony Brook University’s math department. I’ve tutored elementary school, middle school, high school, and university students. I’ve worked as a TA at Stony Brook University and as a tutor at Huntington Learning Center. I’ve done ACT/SAT/SSAT/GRE test prep for all ages—including adult learners! My top priority is engaging my students at their level. Wherever that is, I try to find them and walk alongside them toward their goals. I can teach algebra (I&II), geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus (I&II), and more! If there’s special circumstances, I’m happy to work with you to accommodate them.
