Acme Learning
About
I truly enjoy working with students who may have had difficulties accessing learning in the public school classroom. Getting to know a student, their interests, and incorporating those sparks into learning reading, writing, and/or math is what makes learning fun and actually progress. I make sure students see there progress- and that is it's own encouragement.
I have 25 years experience working with students who have language learning difficulties- and /dyslexia. I am thrilled to watch students start "breaking" the code and make progress in reading, writing, math and phonemic awareness.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a masters in Learning Disabilities- this is simply a masters that allows me to think outside the box - and teach to a student's learning pathways.. A multi modal learning pathway helps cement learning into the brain's memory... and helps the reading writing and math "output" .
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I will work on a sliding scale- I am willing to work with those who need the help- those who haven't been successful in the public education forum.
