Kind Patient Tutoring
About
I am kind, patient, clear and prompt. I have extensive teaching and mentoring experience with both adults and children. I understand the world of education.
I find a sense of fulfillment in watching a student's progess occur before my eyes over time. It's a journey which requires the skills I've outlined above, and I believe it's equally rewarding for the student as it is for me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If it is a child I meet first with the parent(s) alone, then with the partent(s) and child together. We set logistical and academnic goals and expectations together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive amount of schooling and experience in general in many areas. In terms of tutoring experience, I have worked mostly with middle school/high school aged people within the context of group home settings. I have also done remedial training for US Army soldiers of all races, ages, and genders.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I prefer to be paid hourly as opposed to the session. The rate can range from $20 to $35 per hour depending on certain factors - the rate is negotiable.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently had the pleasure of assisting teaching a martial arts class for kids. I am a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and was asked to help out at my gym. What a challenge and a joy to teach such a unique sport to kids!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell any student looking to hire a teacher/tutor in my area to simply have an open mind and a willingness to try their best.
