I am a freshman at Northeastern University in the Honors college studying mechanical engineering and physics. Some of my stats include:

-780 SAT English
-35 ACT (including 35s on science, reading, and English)
-800 SAT II Math 2

I have a genuine excitement about learning, and I love to see that spread to my students. I also enjoy celebrating with them once we accomplish a goal or master a difficult subject.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin by going over exactly what the student needs help with and setting a preliminary goal. Then, I will craft a lesson plan for each meeting with the student, including custom worksheets or homework. I will always be available by text or email to answer any questions in between meetings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My starting price is $30/hr but can increase based on the distance I need to travel or the subject matter. This includes any prep work beforehand or short contacts in between meetings.
How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring as a volunteer at the beginning of high school. I love seeing people excited to learn and celebrate when they conquer a difficult subject.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked primarily with high schoolers, but also with elementary-aged children. I also have experience with ESL children and children on the autism spectrum.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to try out different teachers until you find one who you are comfortable with and who matches your learning style. Learning is extremely personal, and not everyone is a perfect fit!
