About

I am a certified public magnet school teacher with over 15 years of experience tutoring privately. Currently teaching Geometry, Math Intervention and AP Calculus. Passionate about helping students make meaning of math, as opposed to just memorizing algorithms. Highly rated here and on other sites with strong refrrences available from parents (including Yale faculty members). Currently tutoring students in grades 2-12 and beyond.

I really love the messages students send me when something clicks for them, when they achieve a new goal, or when they just want say hello after they no longer require my support.

    I typically begin with a placement test to assess strengths and weaknesses.  From there I can design a personalized program for the student. I  am also happy to work on the student’s regular homework.
