About
I help each student to build on his or her strengths and to overcome his or her weaknesses to achieve the highest score possible.
My students work with me to develop an ambitious but reasonable study plan and I hold them accountable for homework and study.
In three and a half years as a tutor, I have helped students average over a 150 point improvement, with acceptances to Yale, University of Chicago and other elite institutions.
I love seeing students reach high and achieve the goals they have strived for. I am honored to be a part of this process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a questionnaire which is filled out prior to the first session to find out the student's goals for scores and college admission. I want to know what the student sees as his or her strengths and weaknesses in reading and math, and how determined he or she is.
At the first session, I want to meet the parents as well and review the process. I set out a timeline and the steps we will follow along the way.
I assign homework after each session, strongly encourage vocabulary development, and have each student do at least three full practice tests.
