He was incredibly helpful in helping me understand the content for AP Chemistry. It’s a hard course in general, and it just happened to be a bit more difficult for me. However, having Minh there to help me with problems and explain principles and laws to me definitely kept me at speed with the course’s fast pace. He is also friendly as a person and gave me advice on colleges, tests, and managing time with APs in high school. His availability and quick response time made it easy to schedule times to meet throughout the year, which was useful for last-minute review sessions before unit tests. I was having a rough time with the challenging material, but with Minh's help I eventually got a passing score on the AP exam. Overall, very knowledgeable and friendly tutor!

I Loved the simplicity of connecting with tutors that might work for our son's needs, and then choosing the one tutor that was the best fit for him. The tutor we chose was James and he has been excellent in all ways. He meet with our son and asked him the proper questions to find out where he needed help, what his goals where, and lets our son know exactly what he needs to work on and strengthen. Every session James is prompt, very professional, and above all else James has been so kind and respectful to our son, correcting him where he needs correcting and always so respectfully. Our son has literally hated being tutored in the past because he says he feels dumb. James is the first tutor that has ever made our son feel comfortable in asking questions, receiving correction, direction, and as a result he is gaining confidence in himself as well as a better understanding of the subject. We choose James not only because he is more than qualified to teach/tutor the subject, but also his professionalism and mostly because of the way he respectfully guides and corrects our son in a way that has opened him up to be more receptive about learning.
