Roderick is a really cool dude. I’m a beginner Spanish learner. I’ve always been wanting to learn Spanish but I either didn’t know how to start or didn’t see good result. I’ve used different apps on my phone which didn’t really help me learn. The words would never stick. Roderick made me look at learning a language, specially the vocabulary from another perspective. Instead of looking at the Spanish vocabulary as separate, totally foreign words, he told me to look at them as synonyms of the words that I already know, like seeing the new words as an extension of what I already know. I’ve been replacing words of my vocabulary for Spanish words, even though my sentences are not correctly structured, Roderick told me that it’s fine for now, and little by little we can work on my Syntax. I feel like a baby learning how to speak, but I am learning!!!
