Patricia Healey Tutoring

I provide one on one or group services to children and adults. I am a special education teacher and customize lesson plans for each student. I work in alignment with classroom teachers as needed. I teach reading using a research based, multi-sensory approach which has proven to work well with those students who struggle to learn how to read. I also offer ESL instruction to both children and adults. I look forward to working with you.

I've been tutoring for 20 years. I love meeting new students and their families. My favorite thing about what I do is being able to work one on one with my students so that they can work at their own pace and I can customize their lessons to their unique learning styles. The best moment I can remember was when a young person I was working with read her first book in English. Tears were in her eyes and mine. I was so proud of her and at that moment, I knew just how lucky I was to do the work I do.
