About
With over a decade of experience as a special education paraprofessional for the New York City Department of Education, I bring a wealth of practical expertise and heart to my tutoring practice. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mercy College and am currently advancing my knowledge through a Master’s program in Early Childhood Education at Grand Canyon University.
Working with me means partnering with an educator who truly understands how to meet students where they are. My approach is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, focusing on creating structured, supportive, and effective learning environments tailored to each child’s unique needs. I am passionate about unlocking a student's potential and helping them build the confidence they need to succeed academically and socially.
What sets my tutoring apart is the combination of my clinical understanding of child development and my long-term experience in the classroom. I don't just teach the material—I build a bridge for students to engage with their education in a way that feels achievable and rewarding. Whether we are working on core academic skills or developing behavioral strategies for success, I am committed to providing the consistency and patience every student deserves.
