I am currently pursuing my PhD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony brook University, NY. In addition to holding experience of teaching students as a Teaching Assistant and through other online platforms, concepts regarding maths, statistics and computer science (and programming) are a part of my everyday work.
I look forward to guiding students through understanding their specific needs and illustrate concepts through examples whenever and wherever required. I would highly appreciate any feedback that you would be providing me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the student and their comfortable way of learning. Understand their weak points, doubts and address them with ample illustrations and examples. Sometimes bringing in personal experiences and difficulties while studying the same topics turn out to be helpful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Electronics and communication Engineering in undergrad and am currently pursuing PhD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. This combined with over 2 years of Software Engineering industry experience makes me reliable guide to approach to.
Also I have more than a year of teaching experience through Teaching assistanships at university which provides with relevant experience on how to deal with student doubts and concerns.

I don't follow a standard pricing system, but the minimum is $17/hr. It depends a little on the level of the courses I'm being approached for. Usually for coding and modern technologies like ML related stuff I ask for a minimum of $20/hr.
